The IES – Indústria Electrónica, Serigrafia, Lda was established in 1991 by three former employees of Philips S.A. Portugal. It began its activity by providing services in the serigraphy area, executing projects for sectors like telecommunications, gifts and merchandising.

Subsequently, partnerships were established with Philips S.A. RCA, with IES becoming a subcontracted company exclusively for the execution of electronic works, thus manufacturing electronic devices, namely remote controls.

This chapter came to a close in 2009 due to the relocation of all Philips units to Asia.

In 2010, IES underwent a restructuring and shifted its focus towards the electronics and wiring sector.

In 2020, Assemblytronic emerged as a spin-off from IES, now a part of the group, arising from the necessity to centralize services, with a complete commitment to the electronics domain, accommodating a wide array of projects, from their initial stages to series production. Consequently, IES start providing cabling and final equipment assembly services.

Currently, we boast a significant capacity for executing turnkey projects.
